Our co-founder and partner, Dirk Zimanky, recently attended this year’s EMS & PCB Forum in beautiful Würzburg. It’s one of the industry’s important meeting points for exchanging perspectives on market developments, technology, and the challenges shaping the electronics manufacturing sector.

Here are some of his reflections from the event:
“It was a pleasure attending the EMS & PCB Forum 2026 in Würzburg (Germany), once again excellently organized by Dieter G. Weiss and Mareike Haaß. The event stood out for its well-balanced combination of strategic insights and genuine networking opportunities within the EMS & PCB industry.
The Wednesday evening dinner created a relaxed atmosphere to reconnect with many familiar faces while also building new and promising relationships within the our industry – something I personally value highly at these kinds of events.

Thursday’s sessions provided a comprehensive view of the current market environment, bringing together different perspectives across the value chain. I particularly appreciated the discussions around regulatory developments and the latest trends in M&A activity, which added meaningful context to where the industry is heading.

For me, the forum continues to be a very relevant platform to exchange views, challenge assumptions, and stay aligned with broader market dynamics. Overall, a very successful event!
Congratulations to Dieter and Mareike for putting together such a strong program! I am looking forward to the next edition.”
